What we chose not to do

PhiStudio used to offer what most Dubai salons offer — lashes, brows, waxing, facials, the full menu. We stopped. Not because those services are bad, but because being adequate at fifteen things is worth less to a client than being genuinely excellent at one.

So now it is keratin capsule extensions, hair colour and hair treatments. Colour and treatments are not a second business; they are how the extensions end up invisible and stay in condition.

The room

Women-only, open from 10 in the morning until 7 in the evening, every day except Tuesday. An extension fitting takes four to six hours, so the studio is built for sitting comfortably rather than for turning chairs over.

The team

Five master stylists, and not one of them from the same place. That is not a diversity line — it is the practical reason the work looks right on a client base that arrives from everywhere.

Hair behaves differently depending on where it comes from. Fine Eastern European hair, thick and coarse South Asian hair, the density that comes with Filipina and North African hair — the section size that is right for one is wrong for another, and reading that correctly is most of the job. Between the five of them, someone here has worked on hair like yours their whole career.
